Oklahoma is the most earthquake prone state in the continent, and the quakes are caused by oil and gas drilling. A spike in oil prices in 2008 led to a huge increase in oil and gas drilling and the accompanying reinjection of polluted water. This has led to so many earthquakes that residence follow them on cell phone apps. More reason to advance the renewable energy transition.

Good article on how solar panels convert light into electricity. Fascinating how we can use the principles of nature for our own progress. Like photosynthesis we can get electricity in a renewable more healthy manner. The author does a good job describing the process although underestimates the power of solar electric to replace other technologies.
